Community Based Services
This Department is headed by the District Community Development Officer (DCDO) and its functions are:
 Improving on food security and incomes of the farmers in the district by mobilizing farmer groups to adopt modern farming technologies
 Community mobilization on sustainable use of natural resources
 Promoting a healthy and productive population
 Improving on the district Latrine coverage
 Improve on community transformation through gender responsive, FAL, and skills development
 Promoting the protection of Human Rights for all and the Vulnerable groups
 Increase on Local revenue from registration of CBOs through massive mobilization
 Handle cases of domestic violence
 Increasing Safe water coverage
