This Department is headed by the Chief Finance Officer (CFO) and its functions are:
Prepare financial reports
Give guidance to the District council on financial matters
Raise revenue to finance the district budget
Manage budget expenditures and minimize losses and also ensure adherence to approved work plans and budget

Collection and Management of revenue in the District
Preparing annual Budgets that are approved by council
Integrated Financial Management System
Make release allocations to departments
