Health
The Department is headed by a District Health officer (DHO) and it provides health services through:
 Clinical services that include management of common diseases like malaria, HIV/AIDs, TB, cholera and many others
 Preventive services including immunization, house hold hygiene and sanitation,
 Maternal health services that include family planning
 Basic laboratory services
 Health Education through community sensitizations, radio talk shows and community drives
